Here's all you need to know (warning: language):
This spoof of "My New Haircut" was apparently shot midseason at Tampa Bay against Tim Wakefield, who has been abusing the Rays for the better part of this decade. I was at the game in 2001 when he took a no-hitter into the ninth inning, and it was amazing to see the junkballer get it done -- even though it was against my home team.
It'll be interesting to see tonight whether Wakefield can regain his dominance against Tampa Bay (he has a 19-5 all-time record), or if the Rays will continue the improbable by stealing another ALCS game from the defending World Series champs in Boston.
Either way, expect some knuckleballs.
UPDATE 1ST INNING: Well, looks like Tim Wakefield won't last long. After striking out leadoff batter Akinori Iwamura, Wakefield gave up a walk to B.J. Upton, two back-to-back home runs to Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria, and then a double to Carl Crawford. It's 3-0 Rays.
