There weren't any major injuries in practice yesterday that I noticed -- no carts or crutches.
Wilson Ramos was favoring his right ankle and got it taped at least twice. He participated in all of practice though. We'll see if he's ready to go again today when the vets come out at 10:20 (they come out at 10:20 am and start practicing at 1040 am).
I was going to write that the freshmen group is already looking crisper -- but they've had three players false start in less than 10 plays run today.
Former Sanger running back Justin Webber is out playing (as he was yesterday) with no knee brace. It will be interesting to see how he does this fall.
Not too many fans out here but it's early. The crowd usually picks up a little when the vets come out.
Defensive lineman Porter Hill is walking around like he was yesterday, but he hasn't suited up yet. His local paper said he's been reinstated. I'll check with him today.
