Detwiler has been playing with a torn ligament in his thumb. Not sure if this was caught on TV, but there was a funny moment that happened after Detwiler touched home .... Fresno State players didn't hi-five him or celebrate all rowdy. Instead, they gave gentle golf claps as Detwiler returned to the dugout. Quite amusing.
