Georgia star Gordon Beckhman crushed a two-run homer in the eighth inning off closer Brandon Burke to reduce Fresno State's lead to 6-5.

Burke is pitching for the second straight day after throwing two innings Sunday.

Beckham now has 27 home runs for the year, which ranks second in the nation.
