Seniors Tierre Wilson and Erica Henry combined for 26 points and 19 rebounds in their final home game, and Fresno State ripped New Mexico State 68-52 Thursday at Save Mart Center.
Wilson had a game-high 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Henry added. 11 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots.
The Bulldogs (18-10) improved to13-2 in the Western Athletic Conference and remain a half-game behind Boise State with Saturday's date at Nevada concluding the regular season. A victory would give Fresno State a share of its first conference championship in the 37-year history of the program.
Boise State won at Utah State to wrap up its schedule.
Hayley Munro, who hit the halfcourt shot that beat the Aggies Saturday, finished with 14 points and five rebounds. Jaleesa Ross had 12 points, nine rebounds and three of Fresno State's 15 steals.
Fresno State led by four at halftime and increased the margin to 50-34 early in the second half to take control.
