If you didn't see Wednesday night's 70-65 win over Hawaii, here's a quick repeat.
Fresno State trails by 2 with less than two minutes remaining... Kevin Bell misses a jump shot, Nedeljko Golubovic grabs the rebound and just as fast, throws it to Eddie Miller, who is on the perimter.
Miller elevates in front of the Fresno State bench, and just as he does, coach Steve Cleveland yells at him... remember that Eddie is already in the air.
So in a nannonsecond of a microsecond, he tries to gather the ball in, then realizes he's in the air and has to shoot, so he extends his arm back out and shoots. Swish, and Fresno State leads by two points, a vital part of its rally from a double-digit deficit.
At practice, players tried to mimmick his release-then-pull-back-then-shot, but none could as well as he did. Would have been the moment of the game if not for Dwight O'Neil's first free throw attempt hard off the backboard, which found its way in the rim...
