'Dogs defense puts Idaho in a hole

The Fresno State women's basketball team held Idaho to four baskets and 11% shooting in the first half en route to a 31-15 lead Thursday at Save Mart Center.
The Bulldogs had a balanced offense with 10 different players scoring. Hayley Munro and Jaleesa Ross each had six points.
Fresno State also outrebounded the Vandals 30-17 and broke out the full-court press for the first time at home in a Western Athletic Conference game.
The Bulldogs were trying to maintain their first-place lead on Boise State. The Broncos, a half-game back entering the night, won at Nevada.
