If the New England Patriots can win three more consecutive games, a new benchmark in NFL history would be established. Do you want to see the Patriots achieve this goal? Why or why not?

i do want to see them complete this goal. i think it would cap off a spectacular season, and really place them at the top of the list of history's best teams.
i'm curious who doesn't want the patriots to finish 19-0? unless you're a fan of another team still in the playoffs, what excuse could you have?
and i'd also love to see the sportsbuzz step up to the challenge of writing about something other than fresno state sports more often. i'm new to sportsbuzz, but i scrolled back through all the posts since october and i think you have 6-7 stories not about fresno state. there are a ton of sports taking place in and around fresno outside of bulldog athletics. it's easy, and maybe even lazy, to just write about the obvious stories. how about fresno pacific? fresno city? women's sports @ fresno state? anything other than fs football & basketball?
Ed, your point is well taken about sports other than Fresno State. One of our goals is to get the community chatting and exchanging ideas. I've found that posts on topics outside of Fresno State teams get little or no comments. Our community of readers tend to respond to things about the Bulldogs, as they should. But, we will make more effort to have a variety of topics. Thanks for contributing to our blog.

I've been a Patriots fan for 31 years. Most of those years were less than satisfying, many a season with poor records and the dreaded thought of, "well maybe next year ..."
I have had a lot to cheer about and be thankful for in recent years, which is great. But this year's team is awesome! I watched, waited and prayed all those years for New England to be the best team. This is the chance I always dreamed of. To pull off the perfect season, 19-0 and the Super Bowl would be the ultimate!
Let's Go Pats!!
I wouldnt mind seeing the PATS make history but there is one thing that I dont like about that thought... My Dallas Cowboys could be in the Superbowl against them. I would not like that history making game to be against the Boys!!
I have to say there is a soft spot in my heart for Brady and Moss. I had them on my fantasy team and took first!! I also enjoy Michigan football so I have enjoyed seeing Brady's progress. Other than that I hope the Jags or Colts take them out before they get to us. I didnt mention the Chargers for a reason. No offense, but the Chargers just aint gonna do it. Maybe its the lack of offensive capabillity that Norv, the so called offensive genius, puts on his team. Put Jason Garrett in San Diego and they are putting up 40+ points a game with their weapons!!
Don't worry James your "Boys" won't have to worry about being the team facing the Pats in the Super Bowl after the GMEN post a whooping on them this weekend. But if it's any consolation you can root for the Pats when they face the GMEN in the Super Bowl.
The pats were caught cheating, plain and simple. They should have been barred from the playoffs. They are the most over-rated of all time, look at their weak division thats six free games right there especially when you're spying on them. Go cowboys!
One more down, two to go! Keep rockin' on Pats!
The Patriots officially clinched their fifth straight AFC East title on November 25, in the process becoming the first NFL team to be docked a first-round pick since the Miami Dolphins lost their first round pick in 1970 for tampering during the hiring of Don Shula.

now all we have to do is beat the Chargers and we're in. I love my Pats. GO PATRIOTS
