Kansas State scores first

On its first possession, Kansas State needed only 2 minutes to get on the scoreboard when James Johnson ran 67 yards for a touchdown. Johnson took a handoff, ran left and sprinted untouched to the end zone to give the Wildcats a 7-0 lead.

Fresno State fumbled on its first possession at the Kansas State 6-yard line.
