Wow! San Jose is coming off a tough loss to Hawaii. I thought they were going to win there for a second. They played with attitude and didn't let the "Heisman" candidate get to them. I think they had four picks, pretty darn good. I hope our croud will be able to get under their skin and pump our team up to force some mistakes.

The thing I learned this weekend, is that anything can happen in college football this year. The WAC title is there for the taking. Now that our dogs are back home, I don't have any doubt that they will play hard and not overlook San Jose. See you at the game.

WOW! Does the Fresno fans think they are the only Big Dogs in the WAC? Least I am mistaking they are but one of several who are ? -0. What about Hawaii and Boise State who are both, not pretty, but undefeated in WAC play? And speaking of San Jose they were snake bit not to win against Hawaii and go to 4-0 in Wac play. As it is there 3-1 record is not to be taken too lightly or you may find yourself in one of those Nevads/BSU doggie fights. By the way beating Idaho should have been easier than you made it look since they have only a win against 1AA Cal Poly. Me I have my favorite but I am going to keep these lips sealed for fear of looking really stupid a week or two from now. Hey Bulldogs lovers...you have a great coach and a real gentleman in Pat Hill. Win or lose he is a great person and a big credit to Fresno and all of the WAC. You should sign him to a life time contract so he could never get away. A coach I have admired for a long time. I don't expect that we would beat them this year but I know we would get them sooner or later.

go dogs i think that fresno as a city should rally behind the only thing that puts fresno on the map. so cal and some of the other so called power houses of the pac 10 will not only know that fresno is a California team and they have the support of a east coast college. enlarge the facilties and make fresno a world class college everything we need is already there. yea beat SJSU. big west rivals

INJURIES aside. The Dogs are playing alright. Pat Hill does not get a free pass with me, but i gotta give props to him. His only losses are to ranked teams on the road. 916 Mike, points are going on the board and we are playing ALL our players.
Great things to come in the future. I can't wait until we put the smack down on UCLA next year.

With all due respect your post regarding Pat Hill is quite ignorant. Continuing to recruit higher caliber players and simply playing better football is the solution. Pat Hill's model works all over the country in much tougher conferences. Hawaii has been putting up points in bunches for years as have plenty of other WAC teams and we have fared better in the WAC than they have over the past decade as well as much better outside the conference over that same period. Pat Hill needs to be respected more for what he's done for Bulldog fans and this community. It's a shame he can't get the same respect in Fresno that he is credited with regularly outside of our community. Thanks Pat for all your hard work and making Fresno State matter.

Hey 916mike, when are you going to wake up and realize you're an idiot. If you have been paying attention and judgeing by your post you haven't, you would have noticed that our offense is changeing.

Good teams can throw the ball all over the field and score 60pts a game. Great Teams can run the ball down your throat and there is nothing you can do about it. Pat is doing the right thing by trying to run the ball you have to keep defenses honest and if they are afraid you can run the ball in any situation that makes the passing game more effective. Teams that live and die by the pass and teams built on the pass rarely beat great defenses but teams who can run the ball well will wear a defense down and eventually impose their will look at some of the great teams from the east.

Man, why is everybody heated up this week. The one thing I will say about Pat Hill is that he is trying to do what is best, in his mind, for the team. I guess that's all you can ask for. Although he's trying, we haven't won the WAC title since the 98 or 99 season and we didn't even win it outright. I'm glad to see that we are running different formations this year though.

I may not be a huge Pat Hill fan, but I also give credit where credit is due. He has done a great job getting all the young guys ready, due to all the injuries and suspensions. As for 916Mike, I think the way this college season is going, every coach is happy just to get a win. If it's by 1 or 75, we'll take it.

Obviously we can't wait until the second half of a game to get going, so i won't bother with the critique of the 1st half.
I think it goes without saying that we need to come out swinging against the Broncos.
