Send me your suggestions, listing conference teams in predicted order of finish (1-9). No ties.
The options are: Boise State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho, La. Tech, Nevada, New Mexico, San Jose State and Utah State.
The poll results will be posted Oct. 10 at WAC Basketball Media Day in Salt Lake City.
I'm especially intested in expectations at Fresno State. Despite losing the team's top two scorers (Quinton Hosley and Dominic McGuire) can the Bulldogs challenge for a conference title? Is third place in the WAC acceptable?

My predictions:
1. New Mexico State- too much talent returning regardless of losing teir head coach.
2. Fresno State- Im interesting in seeing Harvey and Sims play. Plus we return a lot of great senior players in Bell, Hector and Miller. Plus, they get their best defensive player energy guy O'Neil back. Coach Cleveland has done an outstanding job rebuilding the program and expect to see overall improvement this year from last. If the post players step up and a back-up pg is solidified, then we have a shot at the title.
3. Utah State- always good + best shooter in the nation + outstanding coach + great homecourt advantage.
4. Nevada- lost a lot of talent (Fazekas, Sessions and Shiloh). I believe this ill be the year for the rest of te WAC's revenge despite Kemp returning. Also lost potential starting pg Burleson to academics.
5. Boise State
6. Louisiana Tech
7. Hawaii
8. Idaho
9. San Jose State
Coach of the Year- Stew Morrill, Utah State
Player of the Year- Justin Hawkins, New Mexico State
Newcomer of the Year- Bryan Harvey, Fresno State
1st Team All-WAC
Jaycee Caroll- Utah State
Marcelus Kemp- Nevada
Matt Nelson- Boise State
Justin Hawkins- New Mexico State
Kevin Bell- Fresno State
This is just my opinion and I can give more of a detail if you want, but was in a hurry when I was typing. Thanks for giving me the chance to tell you my opinion.
1. Nevada
2. Fresno State
3. Utah State
4. New Mexico
5. Hawaii
6. Boise State
7. La Tech
8. San Jose State
9. Idaho
Wow... Fresno State picked at No. 2.
Can Nevada recover from so many losses? Seems like that answer is still up in the air.
If Fresno State finishes second in the WAC, the Bulldogs will likely have Bryan Harvey pushing for a first-team all-WAC spot.
We'll see how New Mexico State plays with Justin Hawkins and without Reggie T.
1. New Mexico State..Best talent in the WAC.Cant wait to see Hope play.
2. Utah State...decent talent, I agree Jaycee Carroll might have been the WAC's best player, in league anyway last year, but Morrell is the best coach in the WAC.
3. Reno...Their best player (Kemp) with drew from the draft and the 7-0 sophomore center (McGee)will dominate most teaks in the WAC.
4. Fresno State...McGuire would have put us at number had he stayed.
I like your all tournament team but don't be surprised if McGee from Nevada isn't on it...the guy is huge and pretty athletic.
5. Hawaii
6. Boise
7. La Tech
8. San Jose
9. The pathetic Idaho Vandels.
The Bulldogs will pull it off at number 2.
mark my words ;)
