Bear Pascoe jumped high to haul in a 9-yard TD pass from Tom Brandstater at the goal line on 3rd-and-6, but Brandstater couldn't connect with Marlon Moore on the 2-point conversion and the Bulldogs lost to Texas A&M 47-45 in three overtimes.

as a non-fan, i think fresno state played great and held their own in three overtimes against a ranked team. their fans should be proud.
That was an exciting game in the last half! Those are the Bulldogs we missed last season.
I am impressed with the Bulldogs ! Let me tell you, they know how to play football and they belong in the Pac 10.
Great game....... Thats the team we miss. good luck next week and go dogs.
I was at the game. I'm from Boston & have nothing to do with Fresno St. That was an absolute bag job in OT. I've never heard of the replay booth overruling themselves after they announce their decision. Then to top it off A&M tries to contest the personal foul call to boot. What a joke. The refs/replay refs were in A&M hip pocket. Fresno should protest the game and demand an NCAA investigation. What a travesty to Fresno ST. They played their hearts out and shoukld have been the winner.
Typical Fresno State game. Play well enough to win but still getting the loss. When will they get the type of players who can seal the big win? People in Fresno will always be happy with being close. I don't think Boise State was just happy to be playing Oklahoma. Attitude and players will get them over the hump. Until FSU gets them both, the town will gladly just being there.
Oh come on, Kevin! Do you REALLY believe that a Big 12 team has a WAC officiating crew in its back pocket? The Aggies could make a pretty good argument for overturning that roughing the passer penalty, but they didn't. Instead of whining about it, they took the penalty like the grownups they are.
It was a great game between two great teams. Don't try to turn it into anything less.
The replay crew was Big 12 not WAC. How can anyone believe that the crew all of a sudden got evidence it was a fumble. Pigs will fly before anyone with half a brain believes that. Furthermore the ref on the field said the play was dead before the fumble. You seem to forget the play is dead the moment the ref says he is out of bounds. therefore the fumble was after the play was over. That is a fact, not some Big 12 replay made up crap. FSU should demand an investigation as to what the new evidence was, make them show it. If I had been the FSU coach I would have made the replay crew show what what new evidence was. That was a bag job and I have no dog in that game. Also you can't overturn a penalty call from the replay booth. What are you talking about. I've read on-line the A&M coach demanded a second review. What a bunch of crap that is. I'll guarantee that you have not heard the last of this incident. I'll bet that the NCAA will sanction the Big 12 replay crew. I saw the replay on the board and you had no definitive proof that the nose of the ball didn't break the plain of the goal or his foot didn't touch the sideline when he lost the ball. Sorry pal the ref on the field felt differently than you. I just find it next to impossible to believe they found "other evidence" to show it was a fumble. When A&M tried to pull the stunt contesting the penalty, I would have yanked my team from the field and demanded the replay crew reverse the reversal. That overtime ruling made the game a complete fraud.
I think the dogs played great and almost came back and won in OT. My issue is the play calling, in triple overtime you need a 2 pooint conversion to keep the game going and that is play you call. A toss to the corner to Marlon Moore who is only six feet tall and he supposed jump and get it. I'm sorry but if you are in a situation where you have to score you need to pull a play out that is better than that. Another example is in the fourth quarter the dogs get the ball to the 2 yard line and what plays do they call?...4 passing plays! Luckily the fourth one worked but if I'm on the 2 yard line I would run the ball. Grind out in the good old fashion "Bulldog" football that Pat Hill always talks about. Have some faith in your O-line.
If the dogs think they are gonna win against the Ducks they are gonna need to play better and the coaches are gonna need to support them by being better coaches and call better plays. As always keep the faith and GO DOGS!!!
