No, they didn't get off light ... 3/4 of a million dollars total in fines, first round draft pick, the entire world other than Patriots fans scoffing and ridiculing them, quite a bit to endure.

The Patriots simply did what all other teams in professional sports do, try to decipher signals of opponents. The difference is they used modern technology which makes it easier to remember what those signals are. I agree they needed to be punished for it and it is good to have it quashed before it could go any further.

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks or says - the commissioner made the proper decisions - and the Patriots are a great team.

The Patriots prepare and execute game plans better than any other team in professional sports. This season they finally have top-notch players to demonstrate they are great instead of having to do it with a mediocre cast.

Love the way they trounced the Chargers. LT had been running his mouth ever since last year's playoff game. He appeared a much humbler player in the post game interview this past Sunday.

I expect the Patriots to return to and win the Super Bowl this season, and it won't be due to any form of cheating.

Go PATS!
