In one of the most bizarre storylines from last season, Fresno State removed the decal stickers from its helmets over its last four games.
They were removed as a move to suggest Fresno State wasn't playing "Bulldog Football" and didn't deserve to weear them anymore.
But with the new season just a few days away, the Bulldog logos are expected to return, coach Pat Hill said at his news conference Monday.
The question is, should Hill have waited a few games before making such a decision? Or was making the decision before the season the right move?
But clearly the Bulldogs were playing, um, Sac State football. Or, at the very least, Hoover High football. Break out the Hornets or Patriots decals.
Memo to Pat Hill: Focus on games, not symbolism.
