If this girl isn't named AP Sportsperson of the year, I'm suing someone.

(Forget the story, just scroll down to the photo, halfway down on the right side. Your life will never be the same.)

Still reading the Tribune?

About time you contribute to the blog again. :-p

Yes, forgot to fully disclose that information. The La Crosse Tribune is a small newspaper in western Wisconsin where I used to work.

And of course I still keep up with it. How could I not with stories like this??

For you NFL fans, that's the hometown of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a Div. III school where linebacker Mike Maslowski, wide receiver Bill Schroeder and lineman Tom Newberry all played their college ball.

More importantly, La Crosse has the Mississippi River, the World's Largest Six-Pack (google it!) and an Oktoberfest that lasts eight memorable days. (OK, that's a lie. You will only remember parts of it.)
