I've spent several hundred dollars on cards over the years. Not lately, but back in the early 90s when I became interested in the hobby for the first time since collecting cards as a kid. I can't imagine owning or buying a card as valuable as the Honus Wagner card. I sold a few from my childhood collection in the early 90s, the top money-getter for me was a Topps mini Robin Yount rookie card - I got about $150 cash for it at that time.
