Another loss at Boise, La Tech won't be any easier

This was supposed to be a banner season for the Bulldogs and a down year for Louisiana Tech. Their records have proved otherwise.

Fresno State lost last night at Boise State http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070126/SPORTS/701260362/1029/SPORTS0203, and is now 3-4 in the Western Athletic Conference. Tech fell 84-67 at No. 18 Nevada, but still holds an impressive 4-3 conference record.

Chad McKenzie (19 points against Nevada) and Trey McDowell (17 points) will cause matchup problems for the Bulldogs, especially if Fresno State continues to miss so many shots. McKenzie and McDowell won't.

Against Nevada, Louisiana Tech shot 58% from the field in the first half and 36% in the second half.
