Fresno State women 70, San Jose State 63

The Fresno State women's basketball team defeated host San Jose State 70-63 Thursday in a Western Athletic Conference game.

Tierre Wilson led the Bulldogs with 17 points and Chantella Perera added 15 as Fresno State improved to 4-1 in the WAC and 11-7 overall. Paige Diggs added 13 points and eight rebounds, while Jenny Thigpin had a team-high 11 rebounds and three blocked shots.

Next up for the Bulldogs is a home game against Nevada next Thursday.
