CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State led 8-2 during the early minutes of Saturday afternoon's game at Gill Coliseum before Fresno State, led by Quinton Hosley and Hector Hernandez, rallied to take a 39-34 lead at halftime.

Hosley scored nine points, including a steal and thunderous dunk over Oregon State's Jack McGillis.

Hernandez, who earlier this week, missed the Montana State game due to a sprained shoulder, scored nine points with nine rebounds. He scored consecutive field goals in the post late in the first half; the first a Kevin Bell pass off the backboard and the second off an offensive rebound which gave Fresno State a 37-33 advantage.

Marcel Jones leads Oregon State in scoring with nine points.
