Fresno State has done well thus far in nonconference basketball play. With all the WAC games around the corner, can the Bulldogs keep momentum and take the conference?

I think the bulldogs will definitely take some momentum into the conference schedule. I'm excited to see what they're gonna do this year. I love what coach cleveland has done with the team so far...does anyone remember when all us fans were outraged because Cleveland was chosen over Wahlberg? As far as winning the conference goes...let's not get carried away. We're in a division with Nevada; and Hawaii always seems to be our undoing. I expect a good season (maybe an invite to the dance), but we won't win the conference. Go 'dogs!!!

I think this might be one of the best bulldog teams ever! It all comes from coach Cleveland, thats why i think it might be there best ever. Fresno State is so hot right know that i dont think Nevada can even stop them. Im so tired of hearing Nevada this and Nevada that, we will see pretty soon who the wac belongs to and it will be the Bulldogs. I think honestly the Bulldogs will win the Wac easily beacuse there is so far Nevada can go on the back of I player. I predict the Bulldogs all the way and even sweep through the Wac tournament!!

The Stanford game was the first FSU contest I've seen on TV over the internet. Their transition game is impressive, but their half-court sets are atrocious. MacGuire was scoring inside at will, Stanford hadn't even double-teamed him yet and the dogs are chucking up 3's after one or two passes. Hector Hernandez should stick to shooting 3's, and forget the fall-away jumpers over superior defenders. Their pressure defense is decent and they get their steals but their interior defense gets exposed by mediocre big men (Lopez twins)and will get killed by a great player like Nevada's Nick Fazekas. The biggest reason they won't win anything is that their a jump-shooting, 3-ball chucking team whose 3 point shooters go cold way too often. They won 8 games against awful teams, had one decent win against Crieghton, and should have beat Stanford. The WAC is weak though, they could win it if they get lucky and win one against Nevada.

I think Fresno State will end up third in the WAC, but may still make the 64 team roster. And I think this team would fair well if that happens. Fresno State would knock off some favorites in that position.
