OK, here is my first attempt at posting a picture. This is my Dodge truck, which I bought new in 1997 with the help of my parents, who traded in their car for it.
With gas prices at whatever gas prices are at, I decided to sell it.
Not too shabby for a 9-year-old truck with 120,000 miles, huh? There's a pretty big scratch on the other side, which is conveniently left out of this picture, which I was using on the web to try to sell it. Don't bother with an offer. I finally sold it last week.
It's been a lonely week since. She was a good truck. Drove me from Lawrence, Kan., to Chicago to Selma, Ala., to La Crosse, Wis., to Fresno; every time pulling a UHaul trailer.
I'm really, really hoping that nothing goes wrong with it in the next month. I know that it's not my problem anymore, but I have guilt issues, and if the new owner called tomorrow and said the transmission fell out and went bouncing down Hwy. 41, I'd probably give him his money back and apologize.
This is why I could never own the 49ers, because I'd probably give fans back their money.
