In this podcast, you'll also get our political winners and losers of the week. They might surprise you. Then, again, some of you will have them figured out if you listen to our podcast on a regular basis.
What is up with the horrid neckwear worn by both you and Bill McEwen? Will someone remind Bill that he needs to wear a 'blue' shirt.........all of the 'white' is like being blinded by a snow storm.
MOI thinks that it would be most proper to have Jim Boren and Bill McEwen wear Hawaiian Shirts and holding a ukulele while doing their filmed bit...........Come on me lads, have a little fun, after all your spin on the local spin is wicked and pokes fun at, not Moses with the Ten Commandments.
MOI gets the strong feeling that Department of Public Works is not high on list of department heads Jim would like to keep. More's the pity, as folks in Fresno need an honourable chap who will do right by us and not cave in to political pressure or Fresno Bee Editorial comment.
Ms. Swearengin is an unknown source at this point, she promises much and has yet to deliver.
MOI thinks that position of Deputy Mayor should be continued. The chap there now has show that he is aware, even if current City council members are not. Fresno could do worse than having a chap who understands how to make a point. Bravo to Deputy Mayor and his use of a 'toy' to get the point across about Downtown. Talk to MOI as if he were a 3 year old and he might understand................mind, Dages and Duncan forgot much as they fell into decreptitude and decry any who score with an clever display.
Ms. Swearengin has much to learn.......and would folks stop calling her an 'outsider', she is so not that.
She best not rattle His Holiness, AndyI, he may well take his cap and cape to another place.....as if other City Managers are not aware of the lethal waters to be swam here in Fresno. Who in right mind would want to come and be drown?
Biggest loser politacally is Perea by half. Mean spirited and prone to sulk.........will he ever learn?
in regards to your playtime article i take an exception to your comments. you compare clovis and it technical know how and fresno and its lego mock up of downtown fresno. well as far as i am concerned the actual seeing of the project is much better than some 3d halogram that somebody made up on the computer. when the legoland downtown is set up in the city counsel send some regular person down to clovis and ask to see their program and i will bet you they have at least 10 excuses why they can't show you it at this time. technology is great if you have someone to run it for you but nothing beats an actual model that you can see and touch.
