Some things the journalists do (and I use that term loosely here) go too far, crossing the line between news and privacy. An article on Yahoo! tells of a flap over an Israeli newspaper's decision to publish a handwritten prayer left by Barack Obama in the cracks of Jerusalem's Western Wall.
The article goes on to say that the rabbi in charge of the Western Wall, Shmuel Rabinovitz, called it an intrusion on Obama's intimate relationship with God:
"The notes placed between the stones of the Western Wall are between a person and his maker. It is forbidden to read them or make any use of them," Rabinovitz told Army Radio.
I am offended by the paper's decision to print the prayer. What do you think?
Is Jerusalem's Western Wall what I know as Wailing Wall, which is of
tremendous religious importance to the Jewish people?
Indeed, a prayer deposited in cracks between the rocks should never be
published in a in a newspaper. But I also find it offensive that
Senator Obama deposited a prayer. Obama is not a Jew, therefore the religious significance of the wall is not within the mindset of an American Baptist. It is my conviction that it was grandstanding.
I am also certain that you would not be able to find a Jew, taking Holy Communion when invited to be in a Christian place of worship.
I am totally in the dark about which course to take if one does not like Obama nor Mc Cain To be left to choose between the lesser of two evils is un-democratic in the true sense of the word.
And e-mailing with kin or friends in Europe about the Illinois Senator
might be fun, but it is of no political value to either denizen of those
two continents.
A tremendous breach on so many levels, but what we really learned wasn't concealed in a crack in the wall. Jeruselum taught us that Israel approves of this candidacy, ample evidence of his guarantee that there will be no change in tradition, Israel will continue to receive 1 million dollars every 30 minutes from America's tax-payers and in return they get to set our foreign policy and run rough-shod over our Congress. My prayers always include the poor Palestinians, persecuted, landless, and "concentrated" into "camps."
The Western Wall is open to anyone and everyone who wants to feel a moment with God. You might remember Pope John Paul visited the wall and asked forgiveness for all the wrongs done by the Romans against the Jews.
As for publishing Obama's prayer or even photographing him on the wall, I feel that's a privacy invasion in poor taste. I'd say the same if it were McCain.
Barack Obama has no shame in courting the Jewish vote. MOI is sure that everyone saw his actions for the shameless political stunt that it was. The Jews used Obama, and Obama used the Jews, tit for tat.
Israel receives more foreign aid from the United States than any other country in the world. let MOI repeat that - ISRAEL RECEIVES MORE FOREIGN AID THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD FROM THE UNITED STATES.
Disclaimer - MOI is not Jewish, but the whole of life, folks have thought of MOI as Jewish, flattering actually, as got a very important job based on senior partners believing MOI was a tribe member.
One can always vote for Ralph Nader, a wasted vote if there ever was one, but one would have still voted, if one feels strongly against the other two.
MOI has many friends in Europe and UK who are hoping that the next President of the United States is the senator from Arizona, but then that has not bearing on how it will go.
MOI does not want to cause a certain lady to scream in her padded computer room, but she really needs to get out more oft, the whole world is well aware of the importance of the Wailing Wall, and it has been visited by the POPE, Presidents(there has been a Southern Baptist in the group), all are aware of the PHOTO OP value of doing so.
Hey swift, $1 million every 30 mins means $17.5 billion per year. This is at least an order of magnitude too high. Better review your arithmetic; can look up meaning of order of magnitude at the same time.
I stand corrected on the religious sanctity of the "Western Wall".
Isabell Lawson
I find it funny that some people and some media networks as well as the right wing talk show hosts love to call everything Obama does, a "photo op." They never seem to make the same claim about all the photos and videos of John McCain that are all over the place. If anyone here were to go the the Western Wall, would they take pictures? I know I would.
This is a campaign people. We've all been here before. Candidates do what they can to get their point across and win the election. One thing that's consistent with every election, we Americans love to fight, but never let it be said that "brutality defines us as a nation."
thanks Bill, I could be wrong, the last figure I heard was $48 million per day. The point was; how much of that money comes back to Congress in the form of the "Israel lobby?"...and why is it political suicide to even give a tip-of-the-hat to the starving Palestinians?
Obama is not stupid - he may be slick and devious, but not stupid. Of course he knew that the media would get a hold of that prayer from Jerusalem's Western Wall. It was intended to be that way. Did you read the prayer? It was so generic, non-specific, and pandering that it could have been written by anyone of one of many world religions. It was the perfect photo-op!
Remember Clinton on the beaches of Normandy, a few years ago? He was pictured forming rocks in the form of a cross and supposedly contemplating the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. When a wider view of the beach was seen, it happened that there were no rocks on the smooth sandy beach (except what has been placed there prior to the event). And conveniently - miracle of miracles - it just so happened that a media crew was there to film this so-called "private and solemn moment." It was a great photo op!
Who can forget - although I’m trying - the photo nine years ago of a chubby Bill and Hillary Clinton dancing on the beach in their bathing suits? It was another of those secret, private and intimate moments supposedly geared to showing the state of their shaky marriage - and of course, a media news crew just happened to be there! It was a great photo op!
Come on people, Obama is a Chicago machine politician. He needs people to believe things about him that aren’t necessarily true - for the furtherance of his agenda. It’s just another artificially contrived photo op and it should have been exposed for what it was by the media.
As Rush Limbaugh so often says, "it’s just symbolism over substance."
Democrats will do anything to get elected, and planting someone to find and publish Obama's prayer out of the wall could not be easier. Then cry foul--taking another swipe at Jews.
Obama is willing to lose a war to get elected. He is willing to fly to Germany, rebuke a visit to the our wounded soldiers at the U.S. military hospital, and instead rip his country in front of a horde of German youth he lured their with free music, beer, and sausages. To do what? Convince us he's popular with socialists?
Look at what Dems are doing in Congress--putting our economy (all Americans financial security) at risk by not taking action to lower energy prises. Case in point-Pelosi will not allow discussion on opening outer-shelf oil drilling. Why? Because she knows their are enough Dem defectors that are in favor for it to pass a Congressional vote. Pelosi and her colleageus want you miserable. They want the economy bad before the election, in hopes of convincing you that its all Bush's fault--gas prices and a slow economy. They are counting on your ignorance when you go to the polls..that is the only way you could give your vote to any Democrat this November.
They are more interested in winning an election, than doing what is right for America, and Americans.
TC check out "The Decider".
This has to be the biggest staged photo opportunity of the decade.

Oh the irony...Rush Limbaugh IS symbolism over substance. Take for instance his drive to get his disciples to vote on the democratic ticket for Hillary to increase McCain's chances. This is a public person using his fame and influence to make a mockery of our voting system to further his agenda. A voting system that our military fought to create and defends to this day. It's despicable. I could have guessed that you would be a disciple as well TC, but that's ok, no crime in that.
The only place the Clintons go, or Bush, or Obama, or McCain for that matter, where there is no media following them, is to the bathroom. So yes, there's a camera crew or photographers for every moment. This is the life of a president or presidential candidate. No big news flash here.
You say about Obama, "He needs people to believe things about him that aren’t necessarily true - for the furtherance of his agenda."
The truth is he needs people to believe the truth about him and not the things that aren't necessarily true, for the furtherance of his agenda.
His agenda by the way is to get this country back on track, keep it safe, earn back the honor and respect that your president has destroyed, and move into the 21st century. That's it. No big secrets, no "Marxist intentions" or any of the other crap the right wing tries to stir up.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Obama, I agree that he does have a right to his privacy and printing his note to God is a vialation of his rights. People should be ashamed for this to even be an issue.
Red:
The democrats are taking action, and the republicans are blocking it. It happens to be the republicans who put us in this mess. The following is according to NPR.org:
"Speculation in the oil futures markets has exploded over the past few years, ever since a Republican-led Congress changed the rules so anyone could buy oil futures — not just those who actually intended to use that oil. As a result, the number of futures contracts has increased nearly 12-fold since 2001."
When President Bush took office on January 20, 2001, the national average gas price was $1.46 per gallon.
As you know, democrats are trying to curb oil speculation to bring down prices now, which the republicans are blocking.
Want to find out what the country thinks as a whole, republicans and democrats? Here's an acrobat file of a study done by the Mellman Group.
As for your military visit by Obama, isn't it common knowledge now that the Pentagon advised that he not make the stop? It is in extremely bad taste to use wounded soldiers during a campaign. Obama agreed and canceled his stop. He has in the past visited wounded troops on more than one occasion.
Besides...if he had gone in to see the troops in the hospital the cries of "disgusting photo-op" would have rung from the right side rafters.
And could you please put up some sources for some of the other diatribe you fill your posts with? And I don't mean right wing email forwards or blogs, real sources.
Rich:
Of course the GOP is guilty of staging photo-ops! All politicians do it! The biggest one ever done? Clinton’s, "I did NOT have sex with THAT woman, Miss Lewinsky," news conference before a fawning and complacent media, would get my vote.
Let’s face it - these are days of political deception. Do we know of any politician who is a straight-shooter, who says it like it is, who tells the truth? Not really! I can think of a couple that come pretty close, maybe Mike Huckabee, maybe Zell Miller, former Georgia senator. Other than that, politicians will be politicians!
The mystery is: Why doesn’t the media hold politicians accountable for their staged, managed and deliberately deceptive theatrics? Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy! One can only conclude that most of the media - thank God not all - are co-conspirators with the political establishment.
Scott:
RE: "Rush Limbaugh IS symbolism over substance"
RE: "His (Obama’s) agenda by the way is to get this country back on track, keep it safe..."
It is sometimes frustrating - at least on my part - that Limbaugh’s satire is frequently misunderstood. I guess satire just bypasses the liberal mind-set!
Maybe Obama let a little of his (secret) agenda out when he spoke on July 2nd of the need for a "civilian national security force." Brown Shirts anyone?
...no mystery TC, when Reagan was running for president, he courted the corporate media with promises of de-regulation (and anything else they desired,) in gratitude for getting the regulators (the FCC, ie; we the people,)off their backs, the 'mergers and aquisitions' gang, or as I like to call it; "the national entertainment state," granted him sainthood. since then TV journalism has morphed into that fake shouting-match-mode that we all despise. Consider; last week Congress heard Impeachment debate, and it wasn't deemed newsworthy? ...it's no mystery that Bush also gets a free pass and Israel will always be favorably covered.
Scott-
Not this again...oil speculators are the cause of the problem? This issue was covered in another thread a week ago, and has been covered relentlessly in alternative media.
For your education . . . market speculation, aka the stock market, aka the investing and selling of any product is perfectly legal in the U.S., and has been since the inception of the free market.
It is called capitolism, which means we have a right to make a profit, and our economy is based on capitolism. Economics Basics of supply and demand: If the demand goes up, and supply runs low, the price goes up. And vice versa.
And you missed the point entirely regarding BO not visiting the wounded. He had planned to visit, but decided against it when he was told of the long-standing policy prohibiting cameras at the military hospital. No photo op, no show. He was never told not to visit.
The point is, this reveals alot about who BO is, and that he does not feel a sense of honor towards our military men, even shunning those who have been wounded in battle. That ticks off alot of us who value the peace, security, and safety they provide.
It says volumes about his lack of character, and the contempt he holds for his country, and the courageous troops who dutifully put themselves in harms way to defend her.
Interesting that the people who proclaim their Christianity from the rooftops are the most dismissive of the sanctity of Obama's prayer. Is prayer only for conservatives?
Some Israeli news sources are reporting that the Obama campaign team pre-arranged with several media entities to publish that so-called "private prayer."
It’s also highly instructive that the Obama campaign was allowed to plaster flyers and posters on the police barricades. It is also interesting that Obama campaigners are clearly heard hypnotically chanting, "Obama, Obama, Obama," over the few protestors allowed on that site.
It was a photo-op, plain and simple.
"Everything in this campaign is a strategic pander." Rush Limbaugh 7/29/08
I also value "peace, security, and safety," but doesn't the presence of our poor abused soldiiers in Iraq jepardize those very things?
I really like Obama, i hope that he also prayed about the problem that we currently facing now. i heard his speech in pollclash about the his plan in the war in Iraq and compare it to Obama’s plan, for me i think Obama has a better plan than McCain had, but it's just my opinion then you can see the video in http://pollclash.com and try to see it for your self.
Mike,
It sometimes appears as though that's the case doesn't it? Ordinarily I'd say something like "you're only a Christian if they allow you to be" but that's not really accurate (although some might consider that very accurate). I think what is accurate is that they just don't like Obama and no matter what he does or where he goes, they will hate him and "stone him" at every opportunity.
I'll ask them this question though. Name me a Democratic or liberal politician that you consider to be a Christian.
Red,
I appreciate your stock market lesson, but this is futures trading. Unlike other kinds of investments, such as stocks and bonds, when you trade futures, you do not actually buy anything or own anything. You are speculating on the future direction of the price in the commodity you are trading. This is like a bet on future price direction. The terms "buy" and "sell" merely indicate the direction you expect future prices will take. Rather than taking delivery or making delivery, the speculator merely offsets his position at some time before the date set for future delivery. If price has moved in the right direction, he will profit. If not, he will lose. Now I'll admit, it's still up in the air whether or not futures trading actually affects the market price, but there are some good arguments in favor that it does, or can.
Wow, we're way off topic.
As for Obama, you can have your argument. You plain don't like him, and we all get that. But he has visited wounded troops several times with no cameras, and your claim that he has contempt for his country, and our courageous troops is flat out ignorant and slanderous. So...will you be voting for McCain then?
Redpeach,
Be careful; someone may ask you to quote your source supporting that BO was never told not to visit. In fact, allow me... Where did you not hear that BO was not told by an unknown officer that he shouldn't possibly not visit soldiers who were wounded?
Ha! Got the jump on 'em that time!
Scot: Very few bloggers are quoting sources. Why not call out of others, as well? Or by your rules, it is only those you disagree with that must quote sources.
It really wouldn't matter anyway. Obamamaniacs only believe what their Messiah tells them to believe. All else is rubbish. There's no need for critical thinking, no need for loyalty to country. Only to Obama.
That is what I find scary...Obamaniacs are like the youth of the Nazi's, who even ratted on their own parent out of loyalty to to Adolf.
Mike D.--
Not that I believe this wasn't a publicity stunt perpetrated by BO, but if it wasn't, the only individuals who have not respected the sanctity of prayer are those who snooped, and published BO's prayer. I could care less what he wrote, and have not seen it myself, and don't plan to.
And why would you be offended by this anyway, since you recently posted that elected officials are fair game for public ridicule.
My elders always told me take care what you put in writing, lest it comes back to bite you.
McCAIN IS A HERO, OBAMA IS A ZERO!
Scot
Stocks or futures buying and selling are both perfectly legal, and have been going on for decades. Punishing marketers is not a solution to the energy supply problem we have. Independence from unstable, foreign nations is. And the only way we can head that direction is start using our own energy resources. Because oil fuels 95% our economy, our cars, our homes, etc., we cannot just go cold turkey off oil overnight. As Senator McCain says, "I will not ask Americans to shiver in the dark." His plan has both a short-term solution (drill), and long-term solution to support American innovation to develop alternative energies.
Conservation is only a part of the solution, and even that has a backlash. Business are already hurting because people are driving less, going less places to spend, etc. Unemployment will rise, the economy slow, and guess what... tax revenues will fall. Then what ...higher taxes on an already hurting workforce?
Senator McCain recognizes these things. On the other hand, BO wants to degrade the American lifestyle to solve the energy problem. Why would you support such a defeatist candidate, so down on American exceptionalism. Do you think China, and India are going to start using less energy. It is ludacrous to think they will, and to think America should.
See Red, it's your comments like these:
It really wouldn't matter anyway. Obamamaniacs only believe what their Messiah tells them to believe. All else is rubbish. There's no need for critical thinking, no need for loyalty to country. Only to Obama.
That is what I find scary...Obamaniacs are like the youth of the Nazi's, who even ratted on their own parent out of loyalty to to Adolf.
Things like that are highly offensive and immature, not to mention ignorant and preposterous. Then when someone lashes back at you, you play the victim and say "What did I do?" It's no wonder so many people here have chosen to ignore you. Perhaps I'll join them.
Depending of how much one quotes from an external source, one should
list the source. I don't know if the fresnobeehive bloggers are held free
from harm. But the arm of the law against copyright infringement is long. Other than the "King James Version" even Bibles are copyright publications.
And more often than not, out of courtesy and respect, writers list credits.
Rush Limbaugh probably hit it pretty close, when he said this morning, "I don’t think Obama was at the Western Wall to send a message to God, but to say, 'I’m here to pick up my mail.'"
Being ignored...hardly.
Who is whining? Is pointing out your inconsistancies being a whiner?
What I have set out to do is post opinion/facts, which I try to back up with as much evidence as possible.
Should I keep my convictions/values to myself because they get you hot under the collar?
How is it ignorant and immature to point out the resemblance of Obamamaniacs to a historical event--like the fact the German youth were pivotal in electing Adolf Hitler, and empowered him to become a dictator thru the Nazi Youth Bigade. These are the one's who ratted on their own parents, friends in loyalty to Adolf.
The youth fell hard for this charming orator, and were fooled by the most diabolical facist in history, largely based on Hitlers promise of all sorts of gifts (more social programs) and his proclaimations of the same environmental and animal-rights convictions. He borrowed the promise of social programs from the Communist Manifesto, as Obama has.
Doesn't this sound familiar? You know what they say about history repeating itself. We are destined to, if we do not learn the lessons of the past.
Redpeach,
You’re suggestions that Obama is somehow comparable to Hitler and his followers are like Nazis is opposite of the conventional wisdom. If you want to make Hitler analogies and Nazi comparisons let’s talk about Bush and his sycophants. Bush is the one whose decisions have actually led to the deaths of thousands of innocent people. Bush’s mantra could be "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it, …the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." Yes, it sounds as if the Nazi propagandist Goebbels and Bush think alike because they do! Bush has also had his fellow cultist such as Rumsfeld and Gonzales. And speaking of spying, Bush, like Hitler, loves to keep secret tabs on the citizenry. Bush also is a believer in fake news (just like FOX). Furthermore, Hitler was a “Christian” and so is Bush. Oh my! The similarities are adding up! I could keep going but I think many have already gotten the point (except you, Redpeach).
P.S. Aren’t you ashamed to write something as childish as “McCain is a hero, Obama is a zero” at your advanced age?
Rush Limbaugh is one of the reasons Obama may very well be our next President.
Thanks Rush, keep polarizing the right into obscurity.
Rush Limbaugh probably hit it even closer when he said, “And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up.”
TC....I'm sorry but I don't give a flying fork what Rush Limbaugh says on any subject. It occurs to me that there are a couple of people in here who treat him as their Messiah. He is certainly not mine.
Red,
Imagine that, we agree on a few things in your post at 11:46 pm.
I was going to point them out but we're getting way off the subject and this could go on until election day. In short, I agree we need to eliminate oil imports from hostile regions. Canada is our largest supplier and I think they should be our only supplier. No we can't go cold turkey. Yes we need to explore renewable energy and both candidates agree. Yes, nothing is going to change overnight. Yes, conservation is only part of the solution.
Why are we talking about that? I didn't bring it up. My point was only that IF speculation/futures trading of oil is affecting prices, or is believed to be affecting prices, why not curb it or outlaw it altogether? And I'm talking about oil only here, not corn or oranges or all the other commodities you are lumping in. It hasn't been going on for decades either. Let me quote it again:
"Speculation in the oil futures markets has exploded over the past few years, ever since a Republican-led Congress changed the rules so anyone could buy oil futures — not just those who actually intended to use that oil. As a result, the number of futures contracts has increased nearly 12-fold since 2001.
Now I don't need to tell you what oil prices have done since then. I'll assume you already know.
I'll refrain from replying to your Obama bashing. It's getting ridiculous. We can all bash McCain and Bush for hours, but I've held my tongue so as not to lower myself.
...when Lumpy Limbaugh left the kmj580 interview some years back, the first words out of Ray A.s' mouth were, "people, it's all tongue and cheek"...he's an entertainer Red, you look foolish bringing us his daily nonsense as if it was the gospel.
Red...I'm going to help you out. Here are a couple of links that will help you be more informed. They're safe and unbiased. This way you'll look like you know what you're talking about when in a group.
How they both stand on all the issues.
What's true and what isn't.
Scot
You spend more time denying the obvious basic economics rule of supply and demand: The knee bones connected to the thigh bone, the thigh bone's connected...
Bush has been trying to increase our own oil supplies since he became President, by drilling off-shore and/or in Anwar. That would have increased supply, lowered prices, reduced our dependence on unstable foreign countries for oil, and eliminated this futures speculation problem you love to point to as the singular problem of our energy woes.
Sadly, facts and figures will not change your simpleton montra that it is all Bush's fault.
Oh, you did not sight your sources either.
Wayne
Where do I begin? Your post is preposterous. You have bought into every leftist (communist) rant available. You are anti-American, just like Obama. I doubt that you even know what that means. I suggest you read the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, and the history of our fore-fathers.
I suppose you think America should have taken no action after 911.
So little has been asked of the current generation, that most young males have been chickafied. You do not hold a candle to the men who fought in WWII (or in Iraq today). As has been said by many WWII soldiers, "We did what needed to be done." War isn't pretty, not where anybody prefers to be, its never without mistakes, its not always fair. War is hell, but sometimes it has to be done.
swift
You look foolish discounting the most popular talk-show host ever, and undoubtebly a major player in the world of politics. Much to the demise of the mainstream media, he broke up their news monopoly, and has provided millions of Americans a place to get the news the mainstream doesn't want us to know about. That's why they and the Dems hate him.
If you'd just open your mind long enough to truly listen to what he says for 5-6 weeks, you will discover what I say is true.
Red what are you talking about?
You believe "open minds" listen to Rush?
"5-6 weeks" thats how long it takes to believe and enjoy his polarizing views?
How long was he taking Oxycotten when he was on the air? What a scary thought, shaping the minds of the far right while on drugs.
Mainstream media along with Rush s.cks try reading a book for indepth knowledge on an issue.
There's nothing polarizing about embracing the freedoms, and protections guaranteed us in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Or with enriching your life with the history of our nation, and factual information regarding our the founding fathers. That is what Rush does, as well as expose the drive-by media for what they are...manipulative tyrants connected at the hip to the liberal, left wing (socialist/communist) Democratic Party. For decades they have been only reporting what they want you to know.
Rushes popularity is due to the FACT he gave voice to those who felt they did not have one.
I used to think just as you do, until I opened my mind enough to consider I might be wrong. And I was.
There is nothing wrong with getting your mind shaped, as long as it is your mind, and those who wish to except his views.
If you really believe in us and them rather then one America, that is sad.
"5-6 weeks" to become a follower of Rush. I think many would rather have independent thought.
Red your last post was so patriotic I almost cried. I'm NOT here to defend the left or the media, but to put yourself and Rush as true Americans (as your posts suggests) is nothing less then folly.
...ok, ok, I'll give him 5 to6 weeks, Red, and then we'll see if I'm a ditto-head...i'll get back to ya.
Redpeach,
Wow! Your last soliloquy was right out of Dr. Strangelove. And congratulations on officially surpassing Sen. McCarthy’s long held record of falsely accusing citizens of being communist.
Also, to suggest people who choose not to listen to Rush, as you stated have closed minds, the ones who do have an open mind, seems unAmerican in itself.
It is sad to read that Rush is the bar you set for yourself and others in the capacity of a so-called open and closed mind.
Rich
All I am saying is give him 5-6 weeks of your unbiased (to the best of your ability) ear. I do not agree with everything Rush, or anyone else says. All I am saying is he made me think critically about many of my opinions and values, and made me realize I believe in the original intent/principles of our founding documents, and America is getting further and further away from them. This is largely due to the Democratic Parties socialist agenda, which is in direct conflict with freedom and democracy.
swift is big enough to give him a listen. How about you?
swift
Right on--I will be looking forward to hearing about the outcome of your Rush experiment.
...did i say "weeks?"...sorry, big-red, i only lasted 5-6 minutes, he started with the false premise that "trickle-down" economics works!...the reason ya don't see many "Rush is right" bumper-stickers anymore is because he's been wrong on most issues for years. I don't understand your loyalty.
Red I listened to him while I was working a construction job at someones home, because the owner liked him. This was many years ago, people say he repeats himself so little has changed, same inflamatory polarizing remarks.
Some people enjoy having a person or entity as a target of attack it keeps things simple and easy to understand in a complex world.
I would rather read about issues more-so then listen to the radio, it takes more effort thats why many choose to listen to radio and watch TV.
---
Swift I gave you more credit lasting 5-6 minutes, 5-6 seconds is only good for red commie socialist democratic liberal anti-constitution, anti-freedom people of the United States that don't listen to Rush, oh and they have closed minds too.
Red keep listening to your favorite talk show, go for it, if it makes you feel good, and you like what he says this is America.
Everyone has a vice smoking, chewing tobacco, prostitution, child porn, even listening to Rush.
I too agree that being black is of no help in this country. I am glad that I am not black. That too is playing the race card, and it is a looser, because it is immoral. It tends to invalidate the equality of a non-white skin.
And looking at it numerically; even if every American Black person voted for Obama, African Americans comprise 10% of the population. And
the majority of the electoral college is not black.
Obama is far too intelligent to play the race card. Courting the Jewish vote? Well, that it is a different matter.
