Feinstein can have the Demo nomination for governor if she wants it

California Treasurer Bill Lockyer doesn't think that Attorney General Jerry Brown or San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom would have a chance for governor if U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein decides to run for the job in 2010.

Lockyer told the Sacramento Bee's Capitol Bureau this morning that Feinstein would clear the Democratic field because of her immense popularity in the state.

"She beats everybody," Lockyer is quoted as saying in The Sac Bee report.

Lockyer has toyed with running for the Demo nomination for governor, but said he probably will run for re-election as treasurer in two years. "Turns out being treasurer is a lot of fun," he told The Bee.

God help us if this socialist, high-tax and abortion-loving radical becomes our Governor.

There is no one more suited to govern California that Dianne Feinstein. MOI has had the good fortune of knowing her for over 35 years and can tell true, she cares passionately about California.

My only complaint being that if Senator Feinstein leaves the US Senate, it make Boxer the senior senator, and am not crazy about that.

Mark MOI down as a Republican who would support and vote for Feinstein for Governor

..."the blind men and the elephant"

Given that the majority of Californians appear to be socialist, high tax abortion loving idiots dominated by public employee unions and environmentalist whackos I guess she would be the perfect choice. P.S...MOI=RINO

BRAVO!!! MOI loves the giggle.

I think anyone would be better than the arrogant Gavin Newsom. At least Feinstein has done something as a senator and isn't afraid to speak up for what she believes. Some people just can't accept that a woman might actually be able to do good and we know who I am talking about. The disrepectful one who thinks he knows everything (NOT).

Jackie-I love women...where would be without them but please tell me you don't believe in what DiFi believes.P.S. respect needs to be earned and you come off as someone who runs their mouth and thats about it whereas the more I read of Isabel and her posts the more I like and respect her.I apologize to her for any offensive remarks I have made but understand respect must be earned and in her case I will work diligently at it.
