'Dogs have their day in Sacramento
The Legislature gets a much-needed break this morning from all the work it's not doing on the state's budget, health care, transportation, water, air quality, schools, the mortgage crisis and the economy.
The national championship Fresno State Bulldogs baseball team -- that's national championship Bulldogs baseball team -- will be presented to the Assembly and the state Senate by Assembly GOP leader Mike Villines and Senate GOP leader Dave Cogdill, another pair of local heroes.
While they're being honored, we hope the 'Dogs can pass along some pointers on teamwork to the legislators. They could use a few tips.

...loved the italics Russ,...like, pinch me, I must be dreaming-italics...haven't had that kind of fun since the Boyd Grant days... was I the only one to notice the complete lack of melanin on this team, and does that mean anything?
