Hillary, Obama and pillow talk
Sen. Hillary Clinton's putting in some late hours on the campaign trail. In case you missed it, here is a portion of the "Saturday Night Live" segment, from NBC's Web site, that Clinton made reference to during last night's Democratic debate.
">
During the debate in Cleveland, Clinton jokingly asked whether the media moderators might want to get Sen. Barack Obama a pillow. She contends that the media have been easy on Obama, and the pillow might allow the moderators to make Obama even more comfortable. Her reference to the pillow was about a portion of the SNL segment that isn't included on the above clip.

I thought it was hilarious, and I'm an Obama supporter. (I also thought the actress portraying Hillary was much better than the actor doing Obama.)
What's almost as funny is the number of Clinton supporters treating that broad satire as if it were a documentary. I really think she and her supporters are whining a bit too much about the supposed media bias towards Obama. Where were they when the media was practically coronating her as the next president before Iowa?

Dualing whiners.Sen.Obama was whining about the african garb photo when he should have been defending it.Pity the poor Democrat minorities and the perceived unfair treatment by the media.Conservatives have been dealing with it forever with very little whining.Mike(D)-are you prone to fainting?

Humor is a critical part of our American spirit, so a spoof is a great thing. I thoroughly enjoyed this bit. If we ever lose the ability to laugh at our politicians, and even moreso ourselves, we will have lost something very precious. Life is indeed a tragi-comedy,

Brian, when you said conservatives have been dealing with it with "very little whining," that was a joke, right? I never realized you had such a sense of humor!

Blame the media for asking questions trying to keep some semblance of a transparent government.
Do we want the media to just report on weather and traffic?

That's right Mike...A joke.We all whine to a certain extent.Myself included but don't you think it's funny for Clinton Inc. to be complaining about unfair media coverage aftre they've been getting a free pass for some time from the major networks and newspapers-Talk radio and Fox excluded as they've been hammering them for years. This is not coming from Fox or Rush Limbaugh but from those who previously propped them up while overlooking their misdeeds. It's kind of like the Donner Party... they are being eaten by their own to survive.

Most Americans are aware of the courageous service John provided as a naval aviator and POW. But few can fully appreciate how bad the egregious hospitality of the Hanoi Hilton was. His main concerns were for other POWs’ life-threatening conditions and how he could assist their problems.
To this day John’s truthfulness, dedication and what he believes in is demonstrated by his sincere actions and service as a Senator of the United States of America. We could do a whole lot worse than vote for John Mc Cain.
