Rowdy fans mar victory
An article on our Web site says police in riot gear cleared several large crowds gathered around Fenway Park early Monday after the Red Sox won their second World Series title in four years. Police said they made 37 arrests, mostly for disorderly conduct.

Big sporting events are almost always ruined by the idiots that don't know how to celebrate in a civilized manner. There is far too much drinking allowed at these events. I would not want to attend any of them for fear of being injured. I don't know how setting cars on fire or overturning them and breaking windows etc is of any celebratory value. I think it disrespects the team they are supposed to be celebrating. I am not sure how these idiots can be stopped other than arresting them. Perhaps both teams should appeal to the so called fans that they don't appreciate that kind of celebration.

If there a little rowdy and drink a little too much-no big deal. That's celebrating. When it turns to criminal behavior that's not celebrating it's just an excuse to be the thug that you are.Taser em and toss their butts in with the general prison population.

society has always had to deal with the problem of unattached males,in groups,it's always been a wild card, and when alcohol is added, god help us all.
