A Florida woman paid the price for taking a judge's parking spot. She had to wait for hours in the courtroom, while the judge blocked her car in with his Cadillac. Judge Stanley Mill said, "There's two perks to the job. I have my own bathroom, and I have my own parking spot, and you're not going to get to use either."

A Michigan man protesting abortion rammed his car into the Edgerton Women's Health Center in Davenport, Iowa. The center doesn't perform abortions. It doesn't even give referrals for abortions.

In Salinas, A 37-year-old parolee named Johnny Camel tripped over his baggy pants and fell while police pursued him last Friday.

That reminds me when I parked cars at Bulldog football games at Rattcliffe Stadium in the fall of 1980 when I was with the Air Force ROTC.

That was when cars just started having headlights that turned off automatically, and I didn't know this feature existed on cars yet.

I tried to kindly let this one guy know that he left his headlights on on his Cadillac, as he and his family were walking past me, but they all just pointed at me and snickered in a condescending way.

Well, guess where the next four or five cars coming into the parking lot ended up? That's right, I directed them to surround this other guy's car so that he would be blocked in.

One lady asked me, "Won't I be blocking that car if I park there?"
"That's all right," I told her. That's MY car and I'll be the last to leave.

Some other time I'll tell the story about how I sold programs at the Bulldog basketball games and was in charge of the Air Force ROTC crew that night. We were shorthanded, so I dressed my high-school-aged brother up in my Air Force cadet uniform and had him march with the color guard to be their fourth man!

We had to tuck his long hair underneath the helmet!

I felt like Padre Pio, as the myth goes, being in two places at once, when I heard my name called on the loudspeaker, as being a member of the color guard, yet I was at the front door selling programs.

A lot of students apply for private student loans which come as alternative to fill the gap between what they have been provided with the help of Federal loan and what they really require to pay for their education.
