About once a month, I've been writing a column that gives you an insider's view of how and why we do things on The Bee's opinion pages. Here's today's column discussing our Editorial Board. This is part of the newspaper's commitment to tell our story better to our readers. In the newspaper industry, this is called "transparency." We want you to be able to see into our processes.
This blog also has given you a better view of the people who write our editorials and produce the opinion pages that you read daily. The four of us -- Russ Minick, Gail Marshall, Lisa Maria Boyles and me -- try to post a blog item once a day during the work week. I'll also try to post at least once on the weekend.
Keep coming back to our blog often because there's new stuff posted throughout the day on weekdays. Last week, for example, we posted 23 separate items, most of which had links that sent you to other places for added information. You've also participated by posting interesting comments. We think this blog has created an excellent dialogue between all of us. Thanks for being a part of it.
