Heard it on Rush Limbaugh
Randal La Rue, 53, a beefy man with a few missing teeth, came home from the Vietnam War and has been driving a truck ever since.
He says he's managed to make a good living. He lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He say he has two houses, nine children and two dogs. He also says he's a well-known a singer.
"I sing in churches, on the streets."
In a Subway inside a truck stop outside of Traver, La Rue sings one of his songs about dirty lawyers, politicians and presidents.
He says he's very political -- unlike, in his opinion, most Americans.
"Most Americans, most people in the world, are just ignorant," he says. "They're ignorant of people's characters, of their own characters."
It's Election Day. By absentee ballot, La Rue, who spends a lot of time on the road voted for "a man with character - that's John McCain."
He says he didn't vote for Obama because "that man wants to start his own military force. They're going to be a greater power and have more guns than our military, but he's going to call it a security force. That's getting dangerous for our country."
Asked how he knows this, La Rue says, "That's just the facts. It's well known. I heard it on Rush Limbaugh. Turn on any AM radio show. The information is there if only people weren't so ignorant."

Comments:
Yikes. I like Limbaugh and listen to parts of his show almost every day, but I've never heard that one. Better tighten the tin-foil hat there, Randal.
