arrowWho are Fresno's most recognizable faces

UPDATE: Look for the story on Mayor Alan Autry's star power on the front page of Friday's Bee.

On Sunday, Oct. 26, I'll have a story that looks at how Mayor Alan Autry used his connections in both Hollywood and politics to raise Fresno's visibility across the state, and across the country.

During his time in office Gov. Schwarzenegger has visited Fresno so often he can actually come and go without cameras following his every move. Who would have ever thought that would be the case?

As I've reported for this story, I've asked a lot of people to name the three most recognizable people living in Fresno today. Autry's name came up a lot, even among those who don't follow politics.

Who makes your top three list? Is Fresno's next mayor, either Henry T. Perea or Ashley Swearengin, recognizable enough to keep Fresno in the spotlight?
