In honor of Friday, I'd like to direct your attention to the "How to Take a Sick Day When You're Not Sick" story on AOL's men's site.

Not that I would ever recommend you do this, oh no. And I'm sure no good employee has ever done this, but just for entertainment purposes, here are their recommendations. Click the above link to read the story in more detail.

1. Always call your boss to tell them you're not coming in; never e-mail.
2. Don't be too specific.
3. Food poisoning is a good fake ailment.
4. Don't post your exploits from your sick day on Facebook. (seriously, the story associated with this one is worth reading.)
5. Don't come in with a sudden tan or a brand new wardrobe the next day.
6. Pick a random Tuesday or Wednesday for your fake illness.
