Builders are competing with foreclosures
I guess it shouldn't come as a big surprise that home builders consider bank-owned properties their chief competition these days.
That's certainly the case in the Valley, where builders have cut production as customers look for bargains amid the rubble of foreclosures.
National builders are saying the same thing, and noting that building should pick up when the market starts returning to normal - but don't know when that will be.
