arrowCrackdown on taggers

Fresno police targeted tagging groups in an anti-graffiti operation launched Wednesday in a bid to end assaults between rival groups.

Sgt. Pete Boyer said 20 officers from crime suppression teams and the anti-graffiti unit made 10 felony arrests and 22 parole and probation searches as part of the operation. Two Bulldog gang members were also arrested.

Comments:

As far as I'm concerned, any gang-member that tags deserves to be severely beaten. There's a lot of gang graffiti in my neighborhood and as soon as I catch the people responsible, they will be sorry they ever met me!

Mr. Graham: If you choose to live in a place like Fresno, you deserve what you get. These gang losers have no consciences or brains and they are not scared of you or anyone else. In many cases, their fathers, uncles, brothers and cousins are waiting for them with open arms in the penitentiary, and there is an unending supply ready to step up and take their places. Suggestion: Move to a more civilized place in Cal., or leave the state that considers those with 10th grade English and 8th grade math skills to be "educated". The underclass is permanent, growing and is all around you. Get wise, sir. Taggers are the least of your problems in Fresno. It will only get worse.
