Fresno company donates to Children's hospital
A Fresno-based manufacturer of trucking industry parts has donated signed copies of children’s books written by central San Joaquin Valley authors Maria Pacheco and Lynda Bulla to Children’s Hospital Central California.
DI-PRO Inc. of Fresno purchased 300 books for the hospital, one for every bed. Pacheco, Bulla and DI-PRO volunteers read the books to patients and passed them out.
Pacheco's book, "The Hamburger Tree," is written in English and Spanish. Bulla’s book, "Katydid," involves a cricket who needs courage to change her outlook.
