arrowMan survives jump onto freeway

A man who attempted suicide by jumping off the Bullard Avenue overpass onto Highway 168 Thursday afternoon survived and was taken to an area hospital, the California Highway Patrol said.
The man leaped off the overpass just before 5 p.m., causing a traffic tie-up in eastbound lanes. He was not struck by any vehicles.
