Library sales tax
Measure L
The measure seeks a one-quarter cent sales tax in Fresno County for 16 years. The funds would be used to add books at branches; to create separate homework areas at branches for children/youth; to work with neighborhood schools to increase after-school and job-search programs; to upgrade, repair and construct branches. Spending from the fund would be subject to independent public review.
