What happened to the daily TV listings?
A couple of readers have called to ask about changes in The Bee's daily TV grid.
Beginning with today's debut of our Friday entertainment magazine "7," we've eliminated listings for daytime hours in order to add more channels and make the grid easier to read. Mondays through Saturdays, listings will cover the hours of 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
We've added CMT, Vs., BBC America, G4 and National Geographic, the channels our readers most often request. We're also adding new features, including one-minute reviews of TV shows and a news-and-notes column.
Daytime listings for the whole week will continue to run Sunday in our TV and Cable Guide.
