Anderson is my boo.

Hey he watches The Soup, I like this guy.

I'm a bit perplexed though. Why is it when someone mentions a show, no matter how horrible it is, the audience claps?

I'm so gay for Anderson Cooper.

Any fans of his MUST read his book "Dispatches From The Edge." It explains why he is compelled to be constantly moving, constantly thrust into wars or conflicts, to help escape his own pain.

Son of Gloria Vanderbilt, and survivor of his brother's suicide, this tale is alarming and compelling and fascinating.

My fave AC moment? He's standing in front of troops, ostensibly to start some sort of celebration on camera, when mortar fire hits. The troops duck and cover and scramble.

Anderson? He doesn't flinch, and just goes on, like "well, the celebration should start in a few minutes BOOOOOM!!!!! but there's some mortar fire, so this might slow things down a bit..."

No flak jacket, nuthin,' just brave-ass Anderson. HMac, work it out that you, me, and Anderson Cooper get to sit around drinking watching a Project Runway marathon. A three-way dream date.

He is brave AND catty.... what's not to like? Really it's nice to see someone, who is so obviously SMART, also be human. He watches 'reality' shows for down time. As much as I hate reality tv, it makes me love him more.

one question though... is he gay? just wondering, because i know a person who is both an anderson cooper fanatic and a huge homophobe so i'm wondering how that works out, as i've heard anderson's gay...

not that i'd love him any less if he were! anderson rocks.

I think the whole issue of 'what' Anderson Cooper may be what Steph was flirting/flouncing/gushing/drooling at with the three way dream date between Heather and Anderson... (or maybe he just has a thing for platinums and auburns... steph, steph, steph, what were ye saying, sir?...)

Actually: Cooper is right up there with Jodie Foster as being one of the most open 'closeted,' people in the history of gender identity, and has surpassed any interest and suspicion Richard Gere ever hoped to generate...
Everybody claims him,
everybody wants to know...
Nobody does, (or maybe everybody does,,,)

And he just don't talk about it, like at ALL.
(which aggrivates the advocates to no end,(which I find hilarious.)

I love his more serious journalism, and applaud his unphased focus and humanness, (he's also made it okay for me to go grey,(cheers mate..)

Tell your friend not to worry,
-I knew someone who took homophobia to 'crusader with cudgeon' heights, (and yet chose theatre as a profession,
-another guy who was same -and chose ballet)
and have met quite a few gay folks who are homophobes as well...)
