Cupcakes in ice cream cones: yes, please
Got some money lying around? Want to start a wildly successful local business? Here's an idea: Cupcakes served in ice cream cones.
I hear there's some space opening up at Marks and Herndon soon. Get on it, Fresno. You can thank me later with a lifetime supply of conecakes.

Comments:
I'll be the first naysayer. Can't say I think the dry, mouth-scratching quality of the cone will match with the cake. The ice-cream is the savior of cones, making them sweet and soggy.

I made those in my 2nd grade class many moons ago and i still conjure up memories of a less than satisfactory taste. It was dry and awkward with an aftertaste of wanting ice cream or some sort of moisture.
Not a good idea.

Heather, I have the recipe for these if you'd like. I haven't made them, but I imagine a nice, moist chocolate cake with a gooey frosting would taste good with anything. Cupcake businesses are big in the Bay Area, why not here?

When is the Pinkberry opening at River Park? That will be awesome.
