arrow The new iPhone is good for beating down obnoxious reporters

With all of the long line waiting, the sold out product, and the glitches connected with the new iPhone, it's no wonder cell phone users have been a little testy lately. That might excuse this guy's behavior toward a KTLA reporter who tried to interview him while he waited in line for a phone last Friday. Or, maybe just like the rest of us, this guy finds obnoxious reporters shoving a camera in his face and asking stupid questions absolutely unbearable.

It's probably that second one.

FAIL alert: Try to spell "iPhone" correctly in your graphics next time, KTLA.

yeah, i saw this vid over on boing boing yesterday and they were saying it was someone they knew. funny stuff.

now, i realize some producer probably pushed the reporter to go cover a "story" about people waiting in line, but once he was there he really did seem to have some zeal to show how nerdy these people were. while i wouldn't stand in line for something, oh wait, i did for the first iphone, i'm not going to go out of my way to taunt them.

really, why would you think it's acceptable to ask someone if they've seen a naked woman just because they're in line? i know, they've got to be nerds and nerds never procreate.

i like how he tries to pass it off as, "someone at the station wanted me to ask this..."

you know what, you're still the jerk carrying out orders.

Does that so-called reporter know how utterly idiotic he looks? And that his in-studio colleagues are laughing AT him, not with him?

Don't get me wrong, I love reading The Beehive, but when one gets more professional behavior on a blog than is exhibited by a tv news station, there's something horribly wrong.
Since when did wanting the newest, hottest toy become nerdy?
