Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, on being a mother: "[It's] the best feeling in the world!"

Apparently it makes you prematurely silver-haired, though. Did anyone bother to tell this frosted flake that, in light of what happened recently in Gloucester, Massachusetts, appearing on the cover of a gossip rag aimed at young girls glamorizing a mistake life choice that is exponentially harder for those who don't have money and perks from having their own television show is both selfish and irresponsible? I didn't think so.

I wonder what makes bigots like Heather so arrogant that they feel it's their place to judge the lifestyle choices others make for theirselves.

And Adam should learn to spell and learn to use proper grammar before criticizing others.

You're sharp as a tack, Jay. Good for you.

"Adam should learn to spell and learn to use proper grammar before criticizing others"

"the lifestyle choices others make for theirselves."

Fail, Jay. F-A-I-L.

Wow, I had no idea I'd net one so quickly! This is almost as easy as beating Mike Oz at Mario Kart online.

Now, if having a child was a lifestyle choice made that only involved the person having the child then that's one thing. Unfortunately, what people fail to realize is that having a child is a lifestyle choice that SHOULD be made for the CHILD.
This young woman has far too much money to ever have to actually do the work that is truly involved in having a baby. Once the going gets rough, the nanny can be called.
In reality, girls her age who 'choose' to have babies find themselves living difficult lives often struggling with the loss of education and living in poverty. These young women often will not end up married the the child's father, the father often will not end up being a solid provider ( in all ways, not just financial), and the child will grow up to repeat the pattern. In the real world these young women either lose out on their childhoods or try to retain them, therefore making it so that the baby loses out on a productive childhood.
Are there exceptions? Of course, there always are, but folks, I'm going with the harsh statistics here.
I'm with Heather, this should not be glamourized by the media. If one wishes to discuss the new joy in Jaime Lynn's life than one should be willing to follow up that article with the facts.
Heather isn't being a hater here ( which btw, I believe is a prequalifier for gossip blogger, but I digress), she's pointing out a flaw in today's society's way of thinking.
"Because he/she gets to/has one/ did it... so should I."

Is it me or does JL look like a mini Truvy from Steel Magnolias?
And more importantly, in the corner of the cover, why does Katie Holmes look like M'lynn?

Wait. Seriously, Jay? You would argue that this particular lifestlye choice of Jamielynn's is all right? My brain is hurting from the mere thought that ANY free-thinking adult would think this magazine cover/article is anything but asinine and irresponsible.
And Heather: I know, right? What the bleep did she do to her hair!?

Keith Urban looks like Ouiser.

Damn, I love me some "Steel Magnolias." Good call, Ms. Joey.
