Did They Just Say Fresno? Vol. 15: Rainn Wilson, Pinball Wizard
At VH1's Rock Honors show for The Who, which aired Thursday night, Rainn Wilson (a.k.a. Dwight Schrute) gave us a very Fresnish turn on "Pinball Wizard." He changed the lyric "From Soho down to Brighton" to "From Scranton to Fresno." Scranton and Fresno together? Aye! We're blushing.
Alert readers will know this as a nod to both the Pennsylvania city where "The Office" takes place and the city that bred a wonderful blog called The Beehive that absolutely adores the "The Office."
Oh, and we like The Who too. Here's the video.
Thanks, Rainn! Thanks also to Tudor on the tip.

Yeah, he does, but that pre-dates our series, I believe.
Regardless:
The Office > Dip Set
Get Em Daddy Remix > Original

Awesome. Were there Fresnans in the audience or something because there was a giant roar after Fresno was dropped....a giant roar.

To The Fresnan: Well, you know for sure at least one was there. Me!
I was at the taping of Rock Honors (Last Saturday) and honestly I had no idea what he was saying because it was so loud in the stadium. I was pleasantly surprised when I was watching it last night actually heard what he said. ILU DWIGHT. I MEAN RAINN.
On the flip-side, I was very disappointed at what was actually broadcasted. The Who performed 4 other songs that didn't air, including an amazing performance of "Won't Get Fooled Again" where Roger blew the house down during his famous yell. Ah. Oh well. Viva La Who!
