Did they just say Fresno? Vol. 13: The viral video edition
UPDATE: People keep e-mailing me and asking, "Did you see the ball girl video?" Yes, I did. And I posted it on The Beehive two weeks ago. Now it's big on Digg, YouTube, ESPN and Good Morning America, and garnered stories in the L.A. Times and our own Fresno Bee. So before this slips into Beehive oblivion, here's my original blog post from June 23.
ORIGINAL: The Chuk + Gatorade + Great catch by the ball girl = 300,000+ views on YouTube
Want the backstory? Check out this article. Thanks to those behind this for not doing us dirty like the Prius people did.

Comments:
I realized it was fake cuz the Chuk is never THAT full of fans. The seats were almost full where she catches it. If it was real, there would be four, maybe six people in the frame, tops.

Completely unrelated, but there's a post on Fast Company about McCain's visit to "Fresno State University:" http://www.fastcompany.com/blog-post/mccain-proposes-300m-better-battery-prize

Thanks for the link, James.
I guess this is a good opportunity to say that our friends at FresnoBee.com have just about as much McCain-in-Fresno coverage as anybody could want -- well except Jose -- videos, words, the whole nine ...

Ok... so I didn't realize it was a fake until I read the back story and I was about to get upset at the ball girl ruining a potential out for our Griz... LOL... I need to get out more...
