Battle of the Bands brings the light crowds
Last night was the final Battle of the Bands for the coveted tenth spot on Saturday's Best of Fresno lineup. There was much discussion on the Beehive this week about who should be there, but the talk didn't really translate to people showing up at Crossroads last night.
What happened, Fresno? Not coming to the show pretty much invalidates your opinions on who should be on the lineup, no? Hopefully you'll make up for it this Saturday at the festival.
For those who were there, it was good to see you support local music on a Tuesday night. For those who weren't, here's what you missed:
JJ Brown and From Now On
Flywright (and a fan who may or may not be Jay and Silent Bob's love child)
Battle of the Bands winner The Suppressors

Comments:
Yeah i feel like a bit of a heel for not showing.
My puppy was sick. sounds stupid but i just couldnt leave him and i dont think crossroads has the kind of beer he drinks.
YAY! Supressors~!

Sorry, I'm working 9 hour days right now and I've only got one weeknight a week reserved for going out. If you want to see me, I'll be on the patio at Landmark tonight.

maybe we were all voting against crossroads and their alleged best show.
(although, i do admit i think the saturday show is decent even if i don't go to it either.)

fresno is lazy and they don't like culture, they rather just go to edwards and watch movies
