Want to hang out with the Beehive Tuesday night?
Mike Oz and yours truly will be supporting fellow blogger Mike Seay, aka The Fresnan (NSFW language, for pretty much every link in this post - don't say I didn't warn you), as he and co-podcaster Bells celebrate their third anniversary helming the Dorktown Podcast Tuesday night at Starline.
If that's not enough of a draw to get your lazy self out of the house, Famous Whitewater of Fresno Famous um... fame, will be putting on his punk rock hat and joining up with his fellow bandmates to reunite It'll Grow Back. Also on the bill: The Overdubs, Tokyo Death March and Chrysalis.
With so many Fresno bloggers and podcasters in the same room, you never know what kind of crazy shenanigans might happen: an impromptu arm-wrestling match, a saucy game of red hands, or even a good old fashioned dance-off – it's really anyone's guess.
Doors open at 9. Cost is a measly gallon of gas $5. See you there.

Does this mean the FresnoBeeHive Society Page will be coming back or is this an "off-hours" event?

Well, it's definitely a Beehive Society Page-worthy event, but the truth is:
My camera broke. That's why I haven't done a Society Page in a while.
So we'll see. There's always video...

what, your 'husband' mike oz doesn't have a camera? perhaps you should try turning the batteries around in your camera and see if it works then.
how dare you say i only read mike's posts. for shame!

I am so about Red Hands!

Why's it gotta be like that, ed? You act like you never put batteries in a camera the wrong way.
Posted by: Mike Oz at June 10, 2008 10:24 AM
Heather, I'm pretty sure I've been in a room at the Bee where there's all kinds of capturing devices that people who actually GET PAID by the Bee can check out and use. Just a suggestion.
Posted by: The Fresnan at June 10, 2008 10:36 AM
After publicly admitting that I broke my own camera, you think the Bee's going to let me use one of theirs?
It's the viewer that's broken on my camera - it still takes pictures. I'm thinking about just giving it a try anyway. The pictures taken without the benefit of seeing what I've captured oughtta be way funnier.

No no Mike, he just forgets the batteries altogether. It's easier that way.
Posted by: adam at June 10, 2008 11:04 AM
Ok now ed stop bickering with Mike because he gets to hang with HMac more then you! :P
Adam, I agree with you... we don't need no stinkin batteries! ;)
I can't wait for tonight and will try to make it out there after our 3 hour rehearsal! Ek! Sorry for the sweat/dirt/bug spray/sunscreen perfume now....

dear bard-y friend
don't feel bad, just embody this quote from homer, "I'm not a bath man myself. More of a cologne man."
