They'll bring the Art, you bring the Hop
It's the first Thursday of the month -- that means another ArtHop, another night of prowling for Two Buck Chuck and another chance to frolic amongst the downtown/Tower artsy folks and hipsters.
As avid fans of ArtHop, we're throwing a nudge your way with this collection of links that can you help navigate:
- For a rundown of noteworthy stops, check out this story by The Beehive's Felicia Matlosz.
- Donald Munro suggests you check out the "Canoes Around Town" project, where different local artists uses canoes as canvases. Three places to see the canoes: Fresno Art Museum, Gallery JJ, and Fresno City Hall. More info in this story, also by Felicia Matlosz.
- What exactly is a Kissing Flash Mob? Well it's one of the more interesting ArtHop ideas I've heard lately. Famous Whitewater has the details.
- ArtHop's got wood ... courtesy of Adam Wall (also a local blogger and podcaster). His woodworking is part of a show at Tower Mosaic. More at his blog.
- It wouldn't be ArtHop with an after-show at Tokyo Garden with Rademacher. Tonight's includes Death to Anders and thelittlestillnotbigenough. Here's the very psychedelic flier.

Because she's my roomate and we're bestest friends and all, I'll add Shannon Hunter's photos, showing at Tokyo Garden.

So, Mike Oz, where is the rowdier, less-cultured half of the Beehive Art-Hopping tonight? (I mean, you and me, of course).
