Sometimes you gotta let those hard-to-reach chips go
Sad news today in the world of salty snacks: Dr. Fredric J. Baur, designer of the Pringles can, has died. Dr. Baur was a retired chemist and food storage technician at Procter and Gamble when he patented the design for the Pringles container in 1970.
According to his wishes, Baur has been cremated and his ashes stored in – wait for it – a Pringles container.
In other really sad news, did you know Brad Pitt was in the worst Pringles commercial ever made? True story:

What's amazing is how hard it is to distinguish the difference between Brad's choice of acting material and technique then vs. now...

...so many angles to this... (RIP Dr. Pringles guy...)
...That era (of the commercial,)
Where people cruised Miami radically underdressed, painted a Lincoln Continental Convert in an embarassing shade of yellow, hold up a surfboard that says
'...I've got a fever...' (which is the different between an infection and simply a virus,)
---and a bunch of scantilly clad young women suddenly want to hang out... (until guys with a monster truck show up...)
--even with bad-fake Ramones soundtrack under it,,, you just don't want to think too hard there...
