Movies in the Park: More Than Meets the Eye
Remember Movies in the Park? It's the weekly outdoor movie gathering at Eaton Plaza, put on during the summer months the Fresno Parks Department and Comcast.
Last year, Movies in the Park was a lot like Flashback Flicks, showing movies like my beloved "Karate Kid." But this year, Movies in the Park has fully stepped its game up to include much more current movies.
It kicks off with "Transformers" and the the schedule goes on to include "Evan Almighty," "Batman Begins," "Spider-Man 3" and the whole "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. And they're all free. Check the posters below for the whole schedule and more info ...

I like how they describe the location "near the Water Tower and Fresno Police Headquarters". What are they trying say?
I went a couple of times last year. It's a sweet deal if you got kids or you and your significant other are just looking for a cheap night out. And who couldn't use a couple of those in this time of woe and want?
