The Stare: HMac answers Mike Oz
On Friday, Mike Oz challenged me to a staring contest. (It's this thing that's all over the Internet – you can read about it here).
Mike, who is able to stare into a camera without blinking for 57 seconds, called me out, and thus the Great Beehive Staring Contest of 2008 officially began.
Here is my attempt to out-stare Mighty Mike Oz:
FAIL.
I attempted the staring a good dozen or so times and I don't think I got any further than 25 seconds. Thank goodness I have my brother, James, to bail me out. If only we could harness his powers for good instead of evil.
Despite the fact that I can't even make eye contact with a video camera, I am going to keep this contest rolling by calling out the following blogospherians:

totally objective point of view here... I've suspected this...
HMac is one pretty girl.
--ya know those banner ads on MySpace and such?
of all these girls sitting there, staring into the camera, and typing stuff (and you're supposed to be like
'...who's online now? blah-blah-blah.'
(usually with amazing eyes and great faces...)
That pretty.
When she smiles, you can't help but to smile back and be like '...hullo youuu.'
And when she's just 'staring,' and looking kinda pissed?
it's like:
'...dang... I'm gonna die in Fresno afterall...
(but at least death smells nice and has pretty eyes...)'

I pretty much knew HMac would suck at this. I mean, I only ever see her in the evening, but usually she can barely keep her eyes open at ALL at that point. Luckily she has a SERIAL KILLER for a brother!!
Jeez, that stare of his is overpowering.
For the record, note that I, of all people, have NO comment about how amazingly good looking Heather is...no comment at ALL.

Such talent! The McLane Kids really know how to make a Mother proud. Grandma wanted to know if you guys could breath while staring. OK Mike Oz, what's next for the McLanes?
